INTRODUCTION
The Coloured Communication Styles Workshop is a comprehensive two-day workshop designed to improve communication and interpersonal effectiveness through the understanding and application of the Coloured Communication Styles Assessment. This innovative program delves into the preferred styles of individuals, learn about neuroplasticity (nature & nurture), enabling participants to gain awareness of their own communication preferences and adapt to others' styles to foster better relationships, more effective leadership, and collaboration, and preventing potential conflicts.

Day 1:
Module 1: Setting the Stage
  • Introduction to the workshop objectives and agenda.
  • Icebreaker activities to establish rapport among participants.
  • Overview of the importance of effective communication in the workplace.

Module 2: Purpose Driven Behaviours
  • Introduction to the power of purpose and clarity of goals.
  • Discover how mindset affects behaviours through the Clarity of Goals vs Commitment Matrix.
  • Experiential Activity that will demonstrate how purpose affects behaviours.

Module 3: Introduction to Coloured Communication Styles Assessment
  • Overview of the Coloured Communication Styles Tool and its significance in improving communication.
  • Self-assessment to determine participants' dominant Coloured Communication Styles.

Module 4: Identifying Your Colour
  • Explanation of the four preferred styles (Orange, Blue, Yellow, and Green) and their characteristics.
  • Understanding individual strengths, challenges, and communication preferences.
  • Interpretation of assessment results and insights into nature vs. nurture (influenced by environment)
  • Role Play: Learning to Manage other colours effectively.
  • Introduction of “flexing” - the science of neuroplasticity; by training our adaptability exercises.

Day 2:
Module 5: Introduction to Communication Models
  • Introducing the seven major elements of effective communication process are: (1) sender (2) ideas (3) encoding (4) communication channel (5) receiver (6) decoding and (7) feedback.
  • Exploring the importance of active listening and non-verbal communication in conveying messages accurately.
  • Discussing the "Intent and Content" model to differentiate between the intended message and its actual interpretation.

Module 6: Conflict Resolution and Collaboration
  • Understanding how conflicts arise due to communication differences.
  • Techniques for resolving conflicts and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Case Study: Develop structured intent and content message and practice delivering in the most appropriate and professional manner.

Module 7: Powerful Questioning Skills
  • Learn questioning techniques and funnel approach: Open Ended, Close Ended, Leading, Probing, Retrospective, Prospective.
  • Structured, goal directed and solution focused questioning.
  • Role Play (requires input)

Module 8: Review and Action Planning
  • Reviewing key insights and takeaways from the training.
  • Creating personalized action plans for implementing Coloured Communication in daily interactions.

  • Role-Play: Role-playing exercises will be used to practice adaptive communication techniques. Participants will have the opportunity to interact in simulated scenarios, applying their knowledge of Coloured Communication Styles.
