First Aid and CPR (2 Days) Safety & Health


FIRST AID, CPR & AED TRAINING

DURATION: 2 DAYS

INTRODUCTION

This is a 2-day training is specially designed to train first aider who are caught with lot of work load and time constraints which also help a lot of corporate or factory from different industry to maximize their production. With the increase awareness of importance of first aid in Malaysia.

Our first aid module is according to DOSH, while the teaching and content are according to international body (Emergency Care & Safety Institute, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeon and American College of Emergency Physicians.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this programme, the participants will be able to:

{ck            ·        Become qualified first aider compliance to Occupational & Health Act 1994.

{ck            ·         Able to perform CPR for adult, children & infant according to the latest guideline.

{ck            ·         Able to guide other performing Hands-Only CPR.

{ck            ·         Able to perform Heimlich Maneuver to relieves choking victim (adult, children & infant).

{ck            ·         Able to operate & describe the importance of AED.

{ck          ·         Able to recognize internal & external bleeding & provide first aid treatment.  Able to recognize the cause of muscular skeletal injuries and provide first aid treatment.

METHODOLOGY

 

  1. Lecture & Theory Presentation – Engaging multimedia slide presentation, group discussion and activities.
  2. Experiential Learning – Participant centered & hands-on experience to improve each and every participants level of confidence level in performing CPR & First Aid.  
  3. Participant Coaching – Each participant will get the opportunity to coach another participant, because we believe “we learn twice as we teach”
  4. We injected different element of gamification such as breaking into teams, competing for points, digital first aider run and more activities to further increase communication, bonding, thrust & competitiveness but healthy training environment.
  5. We adapt our training according to current global trends where more than 70% of workplace replace by millennials and most of them are techy.
